Eldorado Country Club Spillway Repair

The low water dam on Comegys Creek in McKinney, TX, part of the Eldorado Country Club, was facing a critical issue – loss of the downstream footing due to erosion under the concrete apron. Compounding the problem was the dam’s original design and construction, which allowed constant flow over the spillway. Further, an additional low water dam downstream was impounding water at the apron’s downstream end. 

To address this complex issue, a repair solution was needed to halt erosion, restore the footing, and ensure the dam’s long-term stability and safety.
