Michael Anderson presents to Prosper Developers Council on regulatory roadblocks

Cardinal Strategies’ Michael Anderson, P.E., D. WRE, CFM attended the Prosper Developers Council regular meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 12 to speak about potential water-related regulatory roadblocks during the development of a site.

The presentation covered Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) enforcement changes, information on dam safety, and FEMA processes related to LOMA, LOMR-F, cLOMRs, and LOMRs.

About Michael

Michael Anderson has a proven track record of delivering strategic and out-of-the-box solutions to complex programs and engineering projects. His wealth of experience spans more than 20 years and ranges from local projects to national programs. He has extensive experience as a Local Drainage Engineer and Floodplain Manager overseeing multiple FEMA CLOMR and LOMR submittals, with approvals averaging less than six months from the first submission. He has been a FEMA Contractor for numerous Riverine Flood Insurance Studies and has completed Riverine Floodway calculations for hundreds of miles of streams using both steady and unsteady models. Mr. Anderson holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University.
