May 24-27 is the Texas Management Association's Flood Awareness Week

This week, May 24-27, 2021, is Texas Flood Awareness Week. It’s important to understand how Texans are affected by flooding and the sudden risks flooding can bring. Flooding can cause more damage in the United States than any other weather-related event, with an average of 8 billion dollars and 90 fatalities annually.

At Cardinal Strategies, our purpose and passion is water. Water from heavy rains and flooding can be very dangerous and damaging.

Texas Floodplain Management Association is encouraging everyone to wear something blue this Wednesday to support “Wear Blue Wednesday.” We here at Cardinal Strategies are proud to do our part in helping promote flood safety and flood awareness in our offices and communities.
